Hey everyone, I am in the process of changing all of the fuel lines on my boat and adding a fuel/ water separator. My fishing buddy told me to install a second primer bulb near the tank to assist the fuel getting to the filter. He has the same brand boat but different model and 3' longer and...
Just installed a water separator on my 18.5 bay boat and was wondering if I will need an extra primer bulb to fill the canister and one to prime the engine? I haven't run it yet, but it looks like it would take a lot to fill the canister and supply the engine with just one bulb? Any thoughts?
I have a 1986 Evinrude XP150 that up until yesterday the TT was operating perfect. Yesterday morning I wanted to tilt the motor down and put the cover back on it and hit the tilt switch and all I heard was the relay clicking. Well, instead of leaving it alone I decided to test it so I removed...

Well I just finished rebuilding the carbs on my 97 Ocean Pro 115 and pulled it outside to run it. A little hard starting, but I've become accustomed to that since removing the VRO, but started and was running fine. Stopped and restarted several times to make sure it would idle, which was the...
Well after leaving the boat at the repair shop for 4 weeks to resolve ANY issues it may have we took it out this past weekend to the coast and it acted really odd. I am somewhat "outboard knowledgeable" but by no means an expert so I may have issues that are related. First, the boat sat for 6...
