i have my 14ft jon boat to bare aluminum besides in some spots but i was wanting to know what all i need to get and do to paint it i am new to painting aluminum
and i am wanting to put a small deck in and floors and was wondering what the best way to seal the wood i am going...
is it ok to strip my jon boat in the winter meaning will it still work good at takeing the paint off only 2 coats of thin paint? and will one gallen of aircraft paint striper do the job?

i have a 14ft jon boat and i am planning to put in a deck in it and was wondering if i used aluminum square tubeing 1x1 can i just solder it to the boat or will it hurt the boat in any way , the boat is thick aluminum on the sides and stuff
