Which is better and why??
I'm replacing an 80's vintage Merc which starts 1st or 2nd pull each and everytime - even 1st use of the year.
Always run the carb (bowl) dry before removing and carrying it on it's side in the utility trailer.
Goona have to change...
I have a '85 merc 9.9 with a broken choke/idle knob.
I have disconnected everything I can get at to remove the assebly (ity sits on the front of the carb)but there is one bolt under (between bottom of carb and housing) that i can't get at.
It appears that I need to remove the entire carb...
