    Engine dies when put in reverse. Please help

    HI all, I have an 78 Sunrunner with the 470 Mec., and everyou time I go to put it into reverse it dies on me. I have this switch that I think is the problem but not sure or what it even does/ is. I have a couple pictures of it. It won't let me upload any pictures, says there to big, and suggestions.

    1978 18ft Sunrunner
