i have a 1974 1150 inline 6 that was completely overhauled by a reputable marine mechanic.it hasnt ran properly since.it has no hole shot.my tach quit,but it doesnt seem to hit top rpms . when you hit the throttle the motor shakes and slowly picks up .with 2 adults in the boat i cant pull my 11...
I have a 1974 inline 6 merc does anyone know how to change the rotor in the distributer. also changing timing belt . I noticed there is a dot on the pulley on the end of the rotor shaft should it line up with the dot on the distributer housing when at tdc
