1958 Evinrude 18hp Fastwin electric start

What kind of fuel tank do I need with this motor? Also, if anyone has experience with this motor, is it a good one? It is in great shape, and looks awesome for almost 60 years old.

Johnson 1961 3HP wont speed up

I got this little motor started after new plugs, new wires and boots, new points and condensers, new coils, new impeller and new oil. With fresh gas and fresh oil in the mix, it started right up. But the adjustments for the jets seemed to make no difference. What you don't see in the video, is...

There was some filler there, in good shape. Maybe a repair from a grounding earlier. In any case it is sealed...

Re: '61 Crestliner Arabian Deluxe resto Started the last stage of the floor tear out. The false floor deck came out fairily easy. Some rot, but not too bad. The balsa core in the center all the way to the front was wet. I am sure glad I found this now. It will be better and stronger than...

    Fat Fifty... Any advice?

Re: Fat Fifty... Any advice? Yeah, before hood redo. After that vid was shot, I decided to keep this motor and make it a permanent team. This is where the rest of the engine is hibernating for the "winter". I'm putting the hood back on and snappin a few pix of my big girl in the sun wearing her...

Re: '61 Crestliner Arabian Deluxe resto All the seat base wood has been cut, and fitted with fasteners for a test fit. The little black top strip that goes between the seat backs was a little old. It will sand out I'm sure so I can reuse them.
