Holy crap went into the ortho for a pilot study on my back, they did 8 injections each side of my spine. I had to lay in bed for 10 minutes after then got up went to get dressed and I could put my pants on standing up, didn't need to sit it has a long time since I could do that. First time in 40 years I have not had a "tooth ache" in my back.

Than they send me home to go do stuff that I have not done in a while. Split wood, shovel dirt, lift and carry heavy stuff, get after it then I have a pain journal every hour. It is amazing to have zero pain forgot what it was like.

I hope that happens to me some day. 5 back surgeries in so far. Just had an updated CT with dye can’t have MRIs anymore. Now I have a new laundry list of problems. It never ends.

I think I found the disconnect. I went in this morning pre procedure intake questions ask me what my pain level is, I said 3 she said you have to be at a 4 to be treated, I said let me show a picture that will explain to you my pain scale. This is level 7 pain with no pain killers for me, so when I say I am at 3 I am halfway between that and a toothache. I have only had level 9 pain twice in my life, level 10 is when you **** your pants.

Also funny when the nurse look at my back and noticed all the scars and asked if it was a rash, I have scars all over my upper back where it is kind of embarrassing to be shirtless, I said no that was pain level 9 when a dozer pushed over a burning tree onto me it hit me in the back took some hot stabs to the back, that was a 9 until I was freed.

Had a week from hell. Had to leave the house 3:30 Sunday morning to catch a 7 am flight. Land in Atlanta drive 3-1/2 hours to Huntsville. Tuesday I woke up and was cold and felt off. I was able to attend a few sessions but by 3pm it was over I went back to my hotel room went to bed only goy out of bed when something inside me was going to come out involuntary and violently.

I was up pretty much all night left my hotel at 5:15 to drive back to Atlanta Wednesday for my flight in a driving rain in the dark for the first hour it sucked. I drank a big bottle of water before I left the hotel had a 20 oz Diet Pepsi and didn't have to pee for 4 hours I was so dehydrated.
Felt so good to get back home last night 12-1/2 hour day when you feel like you got hit by a car.

where you flying from ? Huntsville has some pretty good flights and ATL traffic sucks from the airport to anywhere. BNA is less than two hours drive.

I will drive to avoid regional airports I want a direct flight with a plated meal in 1st class, regional flights always run late and then get downgraded and sit in the back.

technically it is an international airport. second largest city in AL with about half million metro population and ATL is a deathbed for delayed/cancelled/missed/stupidity i avoided that place at all costs. either way BNA would be a 90 minute better option and the entire airport has basically been rebuilt last 5-8 years. All shiny and new.
