I want a 44 revolver lever action trappers rifle. Kinda why I always wanted a colt 1911, a piece of history. Has to be American made.

Buddy just sold 65 guns at auction, had a several high end ones. Bought them through the years and most were never fired. Bought as investment, then decided to down size

Many Colts, Browning, Winchester and others. I don't "need" anymore (have to many also) and should do the same with some of mine. I don't have any real high end ones like buddy did

My immediate want is a Remmington Wingmaster 28" 12 bore with multi chokes .
I got given exclusive use of a private duck pond the month after I made the decision to sell both my steel safe shotguns coz I had nowhere to shoot ducks any more .

Might be easier to ask what gun dont you want to buy.
I’ve recently sold off part of my collection. I’ve also passed some very nice rifles, shotguns, and hand guns to my son.

So you are looking for a Marlin 1894. I am guessing your really didn't mean revolver in the description, but were wanting a .44 or .44mag caliber that is used in the revolver. Correct me if I am wrong.

I still have one. That's what all the ammo was for when it was cheap as dirt. I have the heavy barrel. Was still packed in grease, never issued. Chinese...

I'd like to find my grandfather's PPK. I don't remember if dad had it or his ahole brother ended up with it. Beyond that I have so many just sitting that it's almost a shame.

Yeah that would be nice . Grandad's and its a PPK ....doesnt get a whole big lot better :):).
I read in a book ages ago , cant remember if it was Elmer Keith or J Henry Fitzgerald ( cant find the books either ) but he was basically saying that if one wanted to walk round with a pistol in his pocket for no other reason than the love of guns one should be allowed to . , and , (I love this ) " when the home owner is confronting a burglar even tho he may know the layout of the house , the last 6 feet is best covered by a bullet "

The first rifle I bought for deer hunting 40 years ago was Winchester Trapper in 45 long. Good gun. Followed it with a Blackhawk in the same caliber. I hunted or went shooting at least once a week back then. Nearly every round through both have been hand loaded.
