First time ever I'm starting to get ticked off at Ram/Jeep and both are 2025's

The Jeep Uconnect works fine with time zone changes but cannot seem to know who is driving the car. If I get in first all good "most" of the time, I say most because it will still every once in a while try to shift over to wife. This is pissing me off because it's not usually pushing the setting 1 on the drivers door panel. Next why do we "have" to have separate radio settings, it's set fine on 1 but you have to do a duplicate for 2, 2 cannot use setting 1 for the radio

Now the Ram, Uconnect time zone has never worked buy GPS, been in the shop a few times. I think they want to forget it and I can but it should work. Oil change is much better because the filter is now a cartridge style and not canister you have to remove and tilt on it's side to get out, Thank you. The fuel filters are both under the hood (one use to be above the rear axle), this is a mix bag. OK they are under the hood but getting to both of them are more difficult. Yes they have 1/4 turn dump valves with hoses connected to each filter which leads to the front axle point, but you have to lay on top the motor to loosen the tops, and it's not easy. Getting to the dump valves require a double jointed wrist, and is barely done.

Top top off once the fuel filters are replaced, and filters are bleed at leats 3 times and I did it 5 it starts, great but ........... the next time I try to start it it cranks a good while so I stop it. Bleed again and then start. Now I find out that the filter cap design is known to trap air. So the fix is to drive it for 4 to 8 hours to ensure it bleeds out all the air. Note: I did drive it up and down a 1/5 mile steep hill so it would use more fuel and maybe expel the pocket, it did not

Bells and whistles are great when they work, but when they don't....they are expensive to fix. My local Ram dealer says the electric gizmos are the most costly repairs they have on vehicles...as does GM..

If it wasn't for cummins I would have left Ram long ago. The 15K between filter changes is a plus

I love my 04' RAM 2500. I've looked at some of the newer ones, but I hear WAY too many things going wrong with cars/trucks built after 2020. So, until I have to make a new decision I'm gonna' keep this one going.

Had my 08 for 180K and did great, easy to change oil and fuel filter
The 21 was also good, had to remove oil filter thru passenger wheel well, then the big screen, and 2 fuel filters.

The 25 has a larger screen and removed some buttons, but as mentioned above the other issues.

Gee, I hear from multiple sources that Stellantis is going out of business. I have always thought that they messed up the Jeep brand, and their other brands are pretty much out of touch with consumers.

The shocker is that Nissan is predicted to go out of business as well. Nissan sold a lot of good cars for decades and were high on the quality list. Their failed merger with Honda has supposedly sealed their fate.

I think they fixed the issue but it's online how to steel a K or H car with your phone and a USB cable

My neighbor has a really ugly, rare BMW? (maybe Mercedes) stolen. It looked like a half SUV/car with a big roof rack. Really ugly in a nerd kind of way. Most cars are stolen for parts, hence corolla. This theft was baffling.

Leaving Monday morning early to go and pickup the Formula. This AM I tried the start the truck and same thing it started cranking and kept cranking so I stopped it. Ran through another bleed cycle and it fired right up. Since this will be at least an 8 hour heavy tow I hope this will fix the issue. So far no signs of diesel on the concrete floor so it's not leaking, has to be the air pocket

The biggest issue for me with Stellantis (we have 4 Jeeps in our family, ranging in model years from 2019 to 1998) is backordered and NLA parts. I have no patience for this kind of nonsense when it's happening with relatively new vehicles. I can tell you when it was American Chrysler (before the company was stolen by Mercedes Benz, who I still have a true hatred for) you could get any part you needed in a few days at most.
Stellantis' behavior towards customer service (unless they made improvements recently) is just like what sealed the fate of European brands like Fiat & Peugeot in the '70s and 80's and guess what, the same companies ARE today's Stellantis! I'll add all the English car companies (except Ford owned Jaguar) to that bad list, with Renault included, despite their tie up with AMC.
Europeans, do NOT run American car companies well. They just don't get it.
