Hello, I am trying to help a friend out with a no start situation on his 2005 F90. All of this started because of bad gas after the boat had been left to sit for a couple months, even though he uses non ethonal gas it had gotten dark yellow and smelled bad, like varnish. After getting all that out and new filters we determined the high pressure pump was not working because it was no longer making a sound when key was turned. We removed the old pump and replaced it and now have fuel to the injector rail but we still have no start. We resorted to a shot of starting fluid and get a few puffs of foul smelling exhaust and a tad of smoke but still no start. Is it possible all 4 injectors could be so clogged they could be preventing any fuel to get through? The plugs seem very dry for all of the cranking we have tried. Seems they would be wet by now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Update....we pulled injectors and were able to run carb cleaner thru them so it appears they are clear. Not sure what next step is.

check rail pressure to see if it is in spec and see if each plug is getting spark at correct time.
timing light will help with that

Motor needs good compression, good spark at correct time, and the proper fuel to air ratio to start and run

It appears there is no fire at all to any of the plugs.
