Scenario, this combo remained anchored at sea for 6 months during Covid 19 confinement, Mr. Karcher will take care of the awful looking situation and leave it immaculate clean as once used to be...

Happy Boating

Next time maybe have a visit from Mr Interlux or Mr Pettit before launching!

And tilt the motor up. Be sure to check the zinc anodes to see if they still exist. If no anodes, check the gearcase for pitting or worse.

I have seen gearcases rot away at the waterline, like they were cut off with a knife.

Gee, I spend 2 hours bottom painting my boat, and get to have it tied to my dock in summer. That beats summer trailer storage everytime....

To each their own. I’m all fresh water, and no dock. I don’t mind putting mine up in a dry garage. Though someday a private lake dock is definitely in the cards.....

There are ones out there that eat seaweed, you could sell it to one of them and cover your cleaning supplies cost's!

Been there, done that. The all roller trailer, power winch and ease of backing into a 5 car garage, for me, trumps all the necessary cleaning, taking stuff home and struggling with a cover while the boat is in the water.

When people looked at my 35 year old garage kept boat and commented that it looks like new, that's what made the garage pay for itself.
