I had some issues with a little 12' boat that I think is a Gamerfisher. My understanding is that Gamefishers were some type of plastic that can not be fiber glassed, can anyone tell from this pic is this is fiberglass...
Looks like fiberglass to me, but I tried zooming in to further inspect to be sure and it just gets blurry. If you could take a closer pic or a higher resolution picture that would be great.
Looks like 'fiberglass' to me. Fiberglass being a more common or generic term for "GRP" ( glass reinforced plastic), which is a woven, non-woven, or a combination of both that is infused and bonded by a type of bonding agent (usually Polyester, vinylester or epoxy resin).
I think I know what you are referring to about some older Gamefisher boats. What you are showing is not one of those.
Can we see some pictures of the entire boat? It does look like fiberglass (does it taste like fiberglass ? ). some of the Gamefisher boats were an injection mold type of fiberglass, not the traditional cloth fiberglass.
