What are some good places to stay at in NY? Talking about the Tri-State area no further. Maybe a place with a marina and some restaurants near by? Beautiful views. Some good 2-night getaway places to stay during the summer. Thanks

Thank You , only problem is i would need to trailer the boat there since i am in the ocean. But Lake George is awesome , I have been there before.

Search NY canals. Accessible via the Hudson. The Hudson in itself is nice too.

There are many municipal docks right in the heart of the city center and there are lots of restaurants and shops to visit. There's a nice maritime museum near the public docks and a few other museums in town. The city is old and quite lovely to explore on foot, but they have trolleys if you prefer public transport. There's a beautiful old lighthouse you can tour. Google it for better info than I can provide.
