Ok, so I been doing some research on the heat exchanger for a 4.3 v6.
Ive notice different types, I seen one on ebay for a v6 V belt type which i have but on stb. Side there was no outlet for water pump hook up? Did notice 2 outlets on port side but wasn't sure if it would work.
I've looked at my buddies and he's has a outlet on both sides underneath so I was lery of ordering it.
Input please.
Also, I know this is a long shot, but would a 470 heat exchanger work on a v6 if motified?
I've did a search on here with not much results on different coolers.
Thanks for inputs.

Ayuh,... That "the" oughta be an "a",.... There's all sorta different heat exchangers, by alota different manufacturers,...
Exchangers are also built to mount, 'n be plumbed in many different configurations,...

I've got no problem cobbin' on, whatever ya got, but if ya ain't got 1, buy what actually Fits,...

Years ago, I helped FreebeTony to build a closed coolin' system on his ole I6,....

'n as far as I know, the 470's was part of the manifold system, not independent,...

Agree and will add, if your boat has more then 50 hours of salt water use, or 100 hours fresh use, don't install it. You need a clean engine block to put a heat exchanger on it
