Sometimes my wife confuses the carp outta me.

I showed her the ad for the Martinette and when she saw the price, she immediately said "Baby, let's sell the Kingfisher and buy that one!" :eek: :faint2: :noidea:

Ya know, if I was 20 years younger, I'd probably go for it. But alas, such is not the case.

I remember seeing a very similar boat like this one back around the year 2000 when I was living in an apartment overlooking a saltwater canal in Tampa. Always liked the style of that boat.

But time and tide wait for no man... :cool:

Thanks Joe. I did some looking around online and found that these old boats are pretty available for reasonable prices in good working order. Like $10k.

Even fully restored boats are only $20-25k.

So restoring one just isn't worth the time, effort or money.

Especially in my case. :lol:

not worth the beating at that price. I missed one at $650 here locally. No where to hide it.

If this boat were to come up after I sold my SS I would be driving up to Oregon soon. Right size and in better overall condition that many that have came up for more money.
