Roll and Tipping

I am repainting my boat and have been told this a few times. What exactly does this mean? Also how do you go about doing this?

With a good flowing topside paint, it's easy and the end product looks great.
From my experience, if you thin the paint a bit too much then it's difficult to prevent sags, even with R and T.

I just started sanding my boat yesterday. So can't yet tell you from first hand experience. However from the other threads on here it seems to be no harder than rolling the paint on. The prep work is the key.

well got the paint done... looks damn good to me.... now obiously i am not a professional painter but still looks good!!! thanks for all the tips!!
