Argh.... 1966 Evinrude Help.

Hey guys i have a 1966 Evinrude Sportfour 60hp and i need the Cable clips that hold the cable inplace on the outboard i can not find them anywere and i dont even know what they look like .

Any help would be nice ive got all new teleflex cables and went with the Teleflex
steering allso ALL from IBOATS!!!!! hahaha but im still stuck on land all i need is these clips and im ready for the water

Just trying to get this Classic back on the water.

I went to home depot to try to find a way to fab a bracket but im clueless.

Those clips should be available at any OMC dealor near you. Pretty much every OMC used them, for the last 60 years.

Thats odd everything from 70 on ive seen the cables go inside the motor ? the clamp or bracket im looking for ive not see anywere ... its on the outside and holds the cable in place so it can move the throttle?

well rollin ya always got hose clamps and L brackets.

thanks a ton man!

A few weeks back i was gonna grab a new sea ark but i decided to get this boat from my buddy ... I even had a deal worked out on a new targa from Bass Pro but i wanted this old boat for some reason ... i guess throw a few grand in it and theres no payments hahaha!

But i will say thease older parts are very $$$$ i was looking for a old generator kit yeah right! its more then what i have in the whole boat and all the new parts ive bought ... so far im around 1500 bucks and shes water ready for sure with the new clips.
