Hi,
I've got a 1996 Seaswirl bowrider that has a fiberglass doghouse over the engine. The edges of the doghouse have an approximately 'L' shaped plastic trim material that was foam taped to the fiberglass. This apparently served as a protection for carpet and fingers as well.
The trim is about 0.5" high and maybe 0.25" wide and is some sort of whitish plastic.
The existing trim is pulling away and is looking pretty ratty. I'd like to replace it. But, right now, I'm not having much luck in figuring out what to even call it, so that I can search for it.
Once I get it, how should I attach it? I'd rather avoid the foam tape, based on its failure.
Thanks,
johnbo
