So with the new plan out, will someone without the "I hate W" glasses please tell me:

Are we still at war?
Are we still at war with no intent to win in the next couple of years and if not any idea when we will win?
Are we still at war and staying until it like gets over by itself?
or
Is the war over and we are just hanging around now until things change from the last 3000 years in Iraq where the philosophy has always been kill the other dudes if you are in power?

I seem to be lost, please give me some idea of our purpose and goals in Iraq.

How could anybody possibly know when we will win? Or did bin laden call bush and say "hey bushy boy........this is your buddy bin laden................I think we will give up sometime in mid October, if that is cool with you!! Until then, we will carry on just like normal, then you can say that you guys won.............that is how we radical muslims do it!!"

I try to stay out of you political trolls, but couldn't help it. Sorry for egging this on guys!

BTW, where is the other master of senseless posts...........techno?

Gosh do I feel silly, I did not know we thought bin Laden was in Iraq! That seems to be the center of your response other than providing another title, master of senseless posts. There seems to be a tendency from those without a response to attack the messenger rather than the message.

Ken, my favorite VN protest song of all. By the way was very popular among the troops in Southeast Asia.

Vip, In direct response to your remark:

"How could anybody possibly know when we will win?"

Military training teaches never to enter a battle or war unless you have and understand the ultimate goal and how to identify when such events are reached. Without a plan you have simply a killing field.

Bush #1 understood this, oh I forgot he was really in the military. Get Saddam out of Kuwait, push him back to Bagdad, let him know not to f... with the US and our friends. Mission accomplished Troops came home.

By the way this former liberal Democrat, trying to become conservative republican, agreed with Bush #1's whole package and approach in Desert Storm.

Would you rather me put "troll" in there instead?

You are correct, as far as I know, bin laden is not in irag! This is supposed to be the war on terrorism though and bin laden is the ring leader. That is all I meant by it.

What is the real message.................that you hate GWB?

I do not like what has happened to this country since his administration has been in office.

But back to the issue at hand.

Is it now your opinion that we are in Iraq to stop terrorism? I thought we went there for WMD. I think no one believes that the answer to terrorism can be won or lost in Iraq.

Let me axe you --

How does this apply to Osama Binlaidnot's war?
How about mock-mud's war?
Kim ill's?
Hezbian/isreali war?

I think you are stuck in a single-demension if the only war you see is W's answer to a direct attack upon sovereign soil 5years ago.

To try to answer your question, it applies as a war (or a rumor of one, depending upon the alnews source you plug into at night). In "W's War", we have all "chosen sides", or feigned nuetrality, as have our anscestors in all previous conflicts.
I don't blame you for being worried about war. But to single-out one leader and fixate your hatered and fear on him --while drowning in a sea of insane meglomaniac dictators is only going to give you nightmares, about as valid as the boogyman! And trhis, as the boogyman blows his kids up in a mall near you.

Pop-open the Bible and read "Revelations". It should explain things in better detail. And there are websites not related to boats and politics, but biblical verse, that can translate it in every immaginable way. This internet is a marvelous tool --- Thanks, Algore! :)

As in all war, there will be one winner, one loser. In the source that I attempted to direct you to, it explains the bigger picture.
I am but a man with conservative values that are 180degrees out-of-phase with yours.. For the opinions you want to forward, you are axing the wrong guy.

Re:

12 footer, the ole throw the Bible at em crud does not work well with me. If you follow our true Christian beliefs and the most valued rule we would never be in Iraq. But then again we will ever follow those teachings:

Love one another,
Turn the other cheek,

No not a paficist just would like an answer to my troll.

geez txs, i don't know why u didn't just make this topic
"BRING THE TROOPS HOME" instead of trying beating around the Bush :D

i say YES, bring the troups home, as soon as those in charge of the soldiers are done using them... i bet everyone in america would love to have all of our soldiers in the MEast back home right now.

so i do agree with bringing the troops home :)
