Same boat, new pics. They were having a helicopter photo shoot for a local poker run and the copter was just flying around after the run shooting pics. I looked them up on the net and decided to buy some. They weren't cheap, $$$, but when will I ever get the chance again?

The conversion is great,rides like a bigger boat.The Coastal has a little more room to walk around the cuddy,Sportsman has bigger cabin and sleeps 4.

I love the lines of the 70's and 80's boats.

Here's my 1978 Nova 210 XL I recently bought from the original owner, it's in great shape.

I recently aquired a 1983 230 aft cabin from a guy on craigslist for nothing.
It was docked at a marina and due to an outdrive boot leak the rear portion of the boat went down enough to trash the engine.I understand that it was a 5.7 260 hp.It really is a nice boat,very solid and in decent shape but needs to be repowered and lots of tlc.I have seen tese boats for 6-8k on the internet.I have a 4.3 mercruiser and alpha outdrive that i removed from a 20' bow rider . The engine and outdrive has 260 hrs on it.Of course I have people telling me that properly propped...the 190 would be enough power.I live and fish in coastal central fl and plan on going in the ocean with this boat.Does anyone have an experience going from V8 to V6 ? heres a couple of pics ..more to come
