Hey HopeSheFloats Zombies have rights too Cool Lol

Hey PaulsPaddle Yep got it with the SS Prop and all just as it shows in the pic Its shipping out tomorrow I have my trucker picking it up in Cal

Hey Vert Thats what I thought too, I thought the nose cone was longer and it was stepped at the cavitation plate. Its supposed to be from a 92- 550hp BB The top could be an old style before they went to swept back but all the bravo cases I have seen look much fatter. Its a good deal either way even if it is an alpha 2 . From what I have been seeing for used prices the complete gimbal with backing plate is worth 500, rams 100-150 , drive with 1.50 ratio 400-600
Its going to take a week to get here I did e-mail the guy tonight and asked him for the serial # So I can figure it out that way I'm hoping he can get it to me

HIJACK!!!!! Back to trains for a sec. I hosted my train club on Wednesday so I had the basement cleaned up and decided to take some pics. The trains took a back seat to the boat resto this winter but I'll be back on it this fall.

Looks cool EZ, now a nice mural along the walls and some man in black singing 'I hear that train a comin'...makes me kinda sad I got out of it.

Hvac, ya got me on pins and needles here...either way it doesn't look like you did bad at all.

Re: The Hijack Zone - Zombies Welcome

Good link on the man in black there HVAC- forgot how young he was when that came out.

Good luck on the halted purchase.

AS for her showing in galleries, not anymore. She has her MFA and ended up running a gallery in Bean Town, then was the director of an art program in MI. ( I got her thesis painting:D) Now has kids, hubby, etc. that eat up her time to paint. Teaches art at a school in RI part time to keep connected to her passion.

Seems like we have paint/arts in our blood-
Paternal side:
Great Grandpa, painted a lot, very well- see pic
Grandma / Grandpa- we ( as a family)have hundreds of works by them, the ones he did not burn in his later years:eek:
Aunt- Muralist /painter/ artist in residence at a few schools
Sister - Painter/ art teacher
Sister 2 - Soprano (sang leader) , music teacher now.
Dad- Commercial / Industrial Film maker / Photographer
Me- whatever it takes ( film major dropout), arts background. ( the pic of the house I built for us is my preferred medium- wood and steel)

Maternal side:
Great great grandpa - ornamental plasterer
mom- now teaches( and takes classes) watercolor painting at local groups in her retirement

Re: The Hijack Zone - Zombies Welcome

Quick hijack...check out this '38 Cadillac that my girlfriend's grandfather is almost done restoring.

He's been getting parts from far and wide for this thing...his priority among many projects. It will be painted black when it's all done and we can't wait to check it out.

The engine is from a '78 Trans Am(V8)...as are the tires and rims. Some have said that the '78 rims ruin the look of the old ride. I think they look great.
