These motors are awesome. They all look great.
Good luck in finding one WOG. At the right price. :D

I'm a patient man soooo... We'll see. Maybe all my iBoat buddies will keep their eyes and ears open and ferret me out one. We'll see. Andgott seems to think the old Rude' 40 hp might be ok. He says they run really strong so I guess we'll see how it goes.

If you swing a deal for BF#2, is it the 'same' motor under the skin as the 1 that came w/ BF#1? I think I remember that BF#1 was an electric shift, that may complicate running twins:).....

I hope the weather cooperates this weekend for some seat fab time on Sat & a complete marine inspection on PF#1 (I think we've established that it is preferred for BF#2 to be PINK ~ PF#1) on Sun.

Either way, have a good weekend......

Supposed to be 50? in Tulsa tomorrow so, Work on Seat bases will progress. Might even get some painting done, if I fire up Mr. Heater. The Lock went out on my Tacoma on the Drivers side so I have to take it to the shop in the morning and then back home to work on the boat. Will post pics of progress, if any.

Just tie it locked with the seatbelt and use the passenger door...no time to take it to the shop you got boat work to do!

when I used to drive semis and slept in my truck I would lock the doors, then run the seatbelt through the handle and click it in....locks easy to unlock but tied in with belt not so easy to get in while I am sleeping lol

If any iboaters in the Southern Tennessee area are planning on a trip to the Tulsa, Ok vicinity + or - a 100 miles or so, I'd be interested in making a deal with you.

I'm not headed your way to OK, but I'll be in Knoxville in mid-March for my mom's mother's 101st b-day. Headed back this way, to WV, so probably doesn't help ya, but if I can let me know....

I maybe able to get it west as far as Louisville, KY which is CC254's neck of the woods & smokeonthewater (just north of Louisville) was talking in his thread about starting/running/driving for a commercial boat (hauling ??) service I think. And there will be people coming to Louisville from quite a distance for both Thunder over Louisville, & the Derby in April & May.

Wood, I live in Knoxville and am semi-retired (meaning old and between jobs), drive a pick-up and could probably bring it to you for less than a grand. PM me if interested.

Taking a Lunch Break. Got one base done and the Seat Mounted. I think it's gunna look pretty good when finished. Still need to epoxy the washer on top. Will do that when Install occurs.

Looks great! I wish I had done some custom seating on my boat instead of going the easy/lazy route with the lounge seats.
