Advice appreciated please!
I have a new to me 2008 Zodiac Yachtline - it took on a considerable amount of water in the hull (it was in the water, docked overnight, total of about 24 hrs)
I pulled the drain plug and it must have ran water out for about 5 mins!
The PO did say that he thought it needed new drain plug - the type that is in there currently is a 5/8" dia cam-lever type - it is certainly old and not a very tight fit. (you can pull it in and out without operating the cam)
I am wondering however if this is even the correct type of plug for the drain - it feels like there are threads in the port and when I search for Zodiac Drain plugs directly on dealer sites, it only comes up with two options - one a 3/4" screw in type and the other a 1" or 7/8" cam-lever type
Here is an image of the actual drain port
Should I be getting a cam-lever bung (and if so, what size!)
Or should I be getting something like this?
