Hi group, I just got done making a transom for a little Zodiac s.131 that was missing one. It seems to fit OK. Now I'm not sure exactly how to glue it in. The one I've got has a bolt hole near the top of the boot on either side. From what I've read, this is my plan:

1- Paint transom with good oil-based paint.
2- Clean with an abrasive stone/sandpaper/whatever, then MEK all surfaces that need to bond with the transom.
3- Rough up transom where it bonds with boat.
4- Get "Stabond" 2-part epoxy, mix, and slather it all over the mating surfaces and put the transom in.
5- Inflate the boat so that transom is pushed in to the right place.
6- Install nuts/bolts to hold transom into boot, then clamp where appropriate.
7- Cross fingers and let dry.

Does this sound right? Any suggestions would be appriciated.
