Zenith 263M2 Carb Float Setting

I am rebuilding a pair of Zenith 263M2 carbs on a Hercules KFL engine in a 57 Sportsman 17'. The carb kits I have do not specify what the float setting should be. Can anyone give me that number? Thanks.

Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,...... I don't have a solid answer for you, but my suggestion is,....
Hold the carb at about the angle it'll sit on the motor when running, then set the float so that the bowl will fill, but not overflow,....

I really liked all the experienced information. About things that cause a carburetor to be REPLACED. Laying around motors are prone to blocked tiny passages.
