1977 according to the decals. Either 9.9 or 15 hp.

Re: Your favorite question

Better then the Seller trying to say its no more then 10 years old.
I called on an outboard yesterday and the guy said it was 70's or newer. He gave me the model # and it ended up being a 1958.

I could sell that "vintage" outboard for $700 easy.

Whoopbass: I have a 1955 7.5, 1957 5.5, 1957 18. Send me $2100, and there yours. I'll even throw in a couple of 2 line pressure fuel tanks.

Re: Your favorite question

I believe anything over 20 years can be called "vintage' as in my truck 1987 GMC.

Re: Your favorite question

If memory serves me correctly, that decal ran from 76 to 84? I know for sure my old 100HP SeaHorse was an 80 but it had the same decals.

Your motors aren't vintage their just OLD.

I just sold a 1979 15 hp Evinrude on ebay for $930 + $90 shipping. The vintage motors are fetching more money then the 90's models.
