Silent Night.<br /><br />If you have ever seen the movie Full Metal Jacket and remember Pvt. Pyle you might relate to this as well.<br /><br />My bunkmate in boot camp was Pvt. Lamon and he was exactly like Pvt Pyle. Fortunately he was booted out before going to the rifle range. But he had a marvelous singing voice. On Christmas Eve, our Drill Instructors allowed Pvt. Lamon to sing Silent Night after lights out. It brought tears to the eyes of every recruit in that squad bay. Every time I hear that song, it brings me back there.
