Year ?

LF225TXR Ser#1007840 Letter "K" on bottom of the tag.
The year sticker is missing.
Any idea or how to figure out the year??

69K is the prefix for an LF225. You can see this on the engine ECU.

Then add the X for the shaft length. Followed by the serial numbers.

Complete engine ID would be 69KX 1007840.

Now go to the Yamaha USA website. Open the parts catalog. Type in the engine ID in the search box. It will take you directly to parts book for that specific engine ID. It will also indicate the production year.

then owners center
and then Outboard parts

I am on a desk top Dell so not sure I would say it is a mobile version

On my desk top I don't have to click on three bars. In fact, I don't even see three bars. On my mobile phone I do.
