I'm wanting to put a trolling motor on my older Grumman G-18 and live in Texas. TPWD is giving me problems over the 3 digit serial number on my canoe, and wants the year manufactured or some kind of proof or statement that it was manufactured before December 1, 1972. Can anyone help on this?
