Hey guys just bought an '89 30hp yammy tiller.
This is my first outboard with oil injection, I am just wondering if there is any danger of relying on the oil injection or if I should just disable it and pre mix? I never had a problem pre mixing but have heard various horror stories of oil injection systems.

Also Is there an off button or do I just yank the kill switch on this thing?

Push the red button on the end of the tether cord switch.

The oil injection works great on these motors. I believe there is a oil flow warning as well as a low oil warning.

I agree, the oil injection system works well if, like all things, your motor is regularly maintained and serviced.
