could someone tell the gap settings for a20hp yamaha i think she is around 25 years old the mxture is 100/1 thanks les

The -10 on an NGK spark plug means its pre-gapped for .040 thousands. BR7hs-10

Actually the -10 is the reach or length of the plug. The R is for resistor to reduce rf. They do come pregapped at some where around 35-40 thousands.

You need to read your NGK book. It has nothing to do with reach. NGK doesn't make spark plugs around anything. If you check the gap there right on 99% of the time. They make the most technology advanced spark plugs on the planet. In the front of the NGK book there is an index that explains what all the numbers and letters mean on an NGK spark plug and what -10 means.
