My fishing/ hunting partner has an 80's 115 yammer, it starts every time the first time it is started, after fishing for a while, when he tries to start it, it won't hit a lick,(not every time) when this happens he can remove the motor cover ,disconnect the white wire at the engine terminal strip and it will start every time with out fail. he has spent a lot of money and this still happens. I sure hope some ha an idea what to look foe. thanks many times in advance

Key switch, wiring, or kill switch is bad making that white wire ground out.

I will tell him what you said .I'm not sure if he has considered such a minor problem,I know he has replaced the power pack, and some thing else the dealer thought was bad. thanks a lot for your input
