Hi,

The trim pump on my 3.0l yamaha sterndrive seems to have gone bad. OEM replacement costs $2000+

Anyone know of another brand or model that will swap in 1:1 ?

thank you!

I ended up finding the same pump for 200! Stroke of luck!

Now do you know if theres a special way of filling this baby up with oil? Or is it just a matter of opening the top plastic nut and topping up? Any specific oil to recommend? Thanks!

a 108 - the yellow cap on the plastic reservoir is where you fill the system

yours, not sure

ATF, UTF, SAE 10, SAE 30, SAE 30, ISO 46 all suitable if you flush your system

ATF (straight ATF, not type F, Mercon or Dexron) and SAE 30 are the common fluids.
