Hi,

I've been scouring this forum in the hopes of fixing my suctionless water pump.

i read about the infamous blow test. not sur if i'm doing it right, but when i have the whole pump un hooked and i blow through one end, air easily comes out of the other end. If i block one end and blow through the other, then there is a lot of resistance . i dont think any air seeps out when one end is being clocked.

My first question is; am i doing this test right?

My second question is; where do i go from here? I've changed the impeller and the O-ring. I've also ordered the two oil seals that go on this pump. could this fix my problem? Where am i likely to be losing air from?

Bonus question: How do i split the drive shaft from the pump housing? I'm looking to take the whole thing apart so i can inspect all the components but i'm not seeing an easy way to do it without risking damaging the pump or the shaft

Alot of people seem to have questions about this pump. Hopefully this thread can help many others!

Cheers,
Chris
