yamaha f150 beeping (alarming) at idle?

Thanks for letting me in this my first post. I have a 2006 F150 that beeps when I troll at idle. I can clear tha alarm by putting it in neutral, shutting it off and restarting. It will alarm again if I idle in gear. My Evinrude FICT would do this when the batteries were on their last legs. Does the Yamaha do that also? Any ideas?
