Yamaha differences 2013 F115XA vs JA vs LA

I'm looking at a f115XA and he says it's an analog motor...

What's the differences?

Good bad or indifferent?

F115XA = 25" drive shaft length.

F115LA = 20" drive shaft length.

F115JA = Jet drive lower unit.

I have no idea what is being referred to with respect to "analog" motor. The motor is mechanical. The ECU processor is digital. Both analog and digital data outputs are available from the ECU for either analog gauges or digital gauges.
