hi guys

i have just stripped and cleaned my carb. while stripping it i was distracted by a phone call.after the call i mistakenly unscrewed the mixture screw so hence i do not know how many turns it was set from fully closed.so basically i need to know. are all yamaha carbs set the same way. it is a 28hp around 1970's single carb.

cheers in advance

A good rule of thumb on the idle mixture screw setting would be to turn screw all the way in to gently seated and then back it out about one and a half turns. Without having a manual for your motor with the exact specifications, the one and a half turns out should put you in the ballpark. Good Luck!
