Yamaha 90 TLR won't stop

Probably a desirable problem to some...

My Yamaha 90 (2005) won't stop when the key is turned off. Dealer said to replace the ignition key in the console. I did that, but it did not help. Any ideas?

bad wiring or ground would be my guess, key has to ground the ignition to stop it I think.
maybe different on the newer motors, but I do not think so
