Trying to resurrect an old 1993 Yamaha 9.9 Sailboat motor. It is leaking through the propeller shaft and thus I need to remove the lower casing cap. Removed the 2 bolts holing it in but need help in getting it OUT. Is there a trick? Heat? Soaking in vinegar? Try turning it with vice grips? I have been trying to hammer a putty knife in the crack between the casing and the lower casing cap, but not going well. Any tricks here?? Thanks .................
