I have replaced the starting battery on my 2003 115hp four stroke yamaha.

When I turn the key all I get is a clicking sound.

Any ideas?

Check both ends of both battery cables. They must be clean and tight. If you have wing nuts on the batter terminals, remove them, throw them over the side (oops -- in the trash) and replace them with stainless nuts that you can actually tighten. If the battery is charged, cables are good, and connections clean and tight, you may have a bad starter solenoid.
