I stopped my repower project today after a lot of progess but the ypipe bolts wont budge. Do I need a special tool to do these, I am having a hard time getting a socket to grab it the bolt heads have ridges on them... Any one know a trick to this. I would imagine I could just hammer a socket on it but I don't want to break anything.

Try using the correct socket, called a 12 point ,bolt size is 3/8th

12 point 3/8 socket is what fits them if they're not corroded.

Try a 7/16" 12 point socket before you start hammering.
