Looking to get a new set of plugs for my 1987 150 xr2, the guide shows two options:
NGK BUHW or NGK BU8H... any opinions on which is better or what the differences between the two are???

So much can depend on the motor condition & how hard you will push it. So much P M to do.

My 1993 V6 specifies BU8H. My inline 6 specified BUHW. They are pretty close in design.

"float test the idle stabilizer".... ya might consider tha oiler too if that hasn't already been deleted....

if you know tha history of tha motor and its care (never been over heated main item) and tha oiler is workin' ok at this time) then ya might wanna leave it alone,, your choice....

bu8h was called for on every production 2.0, 2.4, 2.5 V6 from start ta 1999... tha buhw was called for in tha high performance carb (early efi's) models... really makes no difference which ya run.. i'd run tha cheaper of tha two......jmo
