Hi guys, I have a 1982 70HP Johnson (J70ELCNB). I know the oil mix is 50:1 I just dont know what would be the best oil to use for the engine to last the longest. I know the 100 is full synthetic, 50 is mixed and 30 is conventional. Having no experience with 2 stroke marine engine maintenance I wanted to ask you all what would be the best oil to use (I know sometimes switching to synthetics can cause issues with some engines but not sure with these older outboards). Thank you!
