Hello everyone I'm new here on this forum and i have a question. I have a 1981 90hp evinrude and wondering if it's worth rebuilding? If so would parts be that hard to find like pistons? Thanks

Re: Worth rebuilding?

Most factory powerhead parts are still available from any Bombardier dealer. They made these engines by the thousands years ago and there are many factory/aftermarket parts available. You can make your list of part you need from the exploded factory parts diagrams: epc.brp.com You'll have to decide if it's worth rebuilding after you tally your parts and labor costs.

Boobie: piston heads have dings(no holes) form having wrong size sparkplugs.

Thanks emdsapmgr and thanks for the site to go to for parts list.
