Worth It? engine, trailer

Just Looking To See What Is Needed To Replace An Engine In Boat? 350 Chevy In A 23ft cuddy cabin... Also need to get a trailer for it... I Am a auto tech so I really don't know much about boat so i guessed i would ask you guys/girls

Easy if you have a chain fall and the overhead support. Remember the height you are working at...... have a backhoe near you?? They work good.

Remove the outdrive...... (re-alignment really needs to be done with an alignment tool to re-install)..... a few bolts, wires and hoses on the inside and lift it out.

Proper tools and equip the R&I can been done in a day.

need to find a trailer then an engine price both. If hull is perfect add 300 to 700 more for tune up hoses impeller ect. Then price a running boat. I can buy a running cruiser cheaper than I can build a project. Yep I looking for a project, I want a burger king boat built my way

i guess having access to the auto shop will help with the engine change... plus the guy is give me a 327 with the boat.... any problem with this engine? $1500 for the package?

there is a huge difference between a marine engine and a car engine...

i wont go into details....just hit search.

but if you do use a non marinized engine....you go BOOM...not just clank clank
