I recently purchased a late 60s, early 70s Chris Craft boat. It will be project boat for restoring. Couldn't get much history as the owner has past. I've been trying to find a site that shows images of old Chris Crafts so I can bring it back to the original condition. I have looked for hull numbers but haven't been able to find them. May well be a "kit" boat. Can anyone offer a site the shows pictures of antique Chris Crafts?

The two best resources for vintage Chris Crafts are the "Chris Craft Antique Boat Club", and the Mariner's Museum in Newport News Va. The Mariner's Museum has all the build records of the 'original' Chris Craft corporation and for a fee will provide copies of all the original build records for your boat.
I will say that C.C. was very good at stamping the hull number on all sorts of parts in all sorts of places.
Late 60's early 70's would have been toward the very end of wooden boats for C.C.
What size boat is this? What model / style? What engine is in her, original or repowered?I would be interested in seeing pictures.

Hmmmm,.... My large wooden boat was built in '57 and I don't think of her as an antique. :D
