Perhaps this is a silly question but, should I replace the power pack?

The motor runs fine and the switch is working.

The brown-yellow wire from the kill switch into the power pack is grounding correctly. Is there anything else that could be the problem except the power pack. I have a 9.9 evinrude 1977 2-stroke. The power pack is 18-5758.

Looking for advice. Does someone have the pinout and electrical specs for the power pack??

Thanks in advance.

The kill wire is black and yellow. Brown and yellow is from the stator or magneto.

If the kill switch won't kill the motor then the problem is with the switch not the powerpack.
