In my experience Wix filters are some of the best filters on the market. I don't see where marine applications are that special of an application. I use Wix filters on all of my heavy equipment, have never had any problems.

thats good news, I was asking because I remember reading somewhere onhere that for boats you should only use marine specific parts....I guess its primarilly for actal motor parts rather than anything else....

I use them on all my filter equipped engines. Good stuff.
