Hello I'm trying to wire an 82 60hp Johnson motor with a 75 135hp Johnson Wiring harness it only has 1 more wire than the 60hp I just dont know where all the wires go. A more complete wiring diagram would be helpful but I cant find one.

Both wiring systems are identical as per both main electrical plugs are RED. It's just that the components that they lead to are of a different design.

Thanks Joe I got it all wired up and it is running only problem I have now is somehow the motor is starting when I turn the key to accessory so I musr have 1 wire in the wrong place.

Accessory?? The key should have three positions... OFF... ON... START. If by accessory, you mean the ON position, and that setting engages the starter, that indicates you have the starter solenoid wire (usually Yellow/Red) on that engine connected to the "A" (accessory) terminal (wrong) and it should be connected to the "S"(solenoid) terminal

Yeah I got it straightened out it is working as it should now. I put water muffs on the lower unit and turned the hose on and started it but no water came out of the exaust so I think I'm going to have to change the water pump. Is there anything I should know before I remove the lower unit to change the water pump.
