Looking at a new outboard engine, guy had a problem and switch’s put the terminals on wrong side, does the 2002 Yamaha 150hp 2 stroke have a fuse that will help this so it doesn’t damage the whole engine or what would a repair look like ?

If you're talking about the battery terminals, then yes, there is a fuse just for this under the cowling......this happens more than most folks might want to admit....I always paint around my battery terminals with red paint for positive....it helps a lot...
